Around Birmingham
A tanker train hauled by a blue class 31 is seen entering Bescot station
from the Walsall direction on 1st September 1986. At this time, all timetabled
passenger trains ran to Walsall and the Wolverhampton route to the left of the
picture was used only for freight or diverted passenger trains.
Class 304 unit no. 016 at Duddeston station on 10 March 1986 with a Walsall to New Street train.

50 019 and 50 001 are seen passing through Kings Norton with the 07.35 Cardiff
to Edinburgh train on 11 April 1987. This location has since been electrified for
Birmingham Cross-City services to Longbridge and Redditch.
