A 3 car class 107 DMU in orange and black Strathclyde PTE livery is seen
passing the signal box at Larbert on 1st August 1989.
This picture was taken earlier the same day and shows 47 717 in Scotrail livery
passing Polmont Junction with a Glasgow to Edinburgh push-pull train.
This Edinburgh to Glasgow push-pull train has just began its journey and is seen passing through
Princes Street Gardens on 3rd August 1989. The train is peing propelled by a class47/7.

This late evening shot shows 37 422 at Queen Street after having arrived with a West Highland line train on 11 August 1988.
The air conditioned stock at the rear of the train will be forwarded to London Euston on the overnight sleeper.

08 735 is seen with a train of empty MGR wagons at Newton-on-Ayr. Withdrawn electric units are

26 021 is seen with a train of 16Ton mineral wagons at Perth on
11 August 1988. This was the last time I saw a rake of these elderly
wagons on BR.
