Uckfield branch
All the pictures on this page were taken during a visit to the Uckfield branch on 16 July 1988. In this first picture, DEMU no.205 101 is seen passing over the level crossing at Uckfield. A new station has since been built on the site from which this picture was taken, thus eliminating the level crossing and track beyond.
33 012 and 33035 are seen with a train of grampus wagons at Crowborough station. The picture was taken from the steps of the signal box.
