Uckfield branch
All the pictures on this page were taken during a visit to the Uckfield branch on 16 July 1988. In this first picture,
DEMU no.205 101 is seen passing over the level crossing at Uckfield. A new station has since been built on the site from
which this picture was taken, thus eliminating the level crossing and track beyond.

This picture was taken from the steps of
the signal box at Crowborough station.33 012 and 33035 are seen with a train of grampus wagons which was then shunted into the sidings on the
right of the picture.
